*NEWS*

I am slowing down a little after the hugely successful Art among the Ruins show in June. Thank you to everyone who came to the Ruins and stopped by my booth- I almost sold out , what an amazing group of customers I have. I will continue to create in my head and get back to the workshop after a brief break to enjoy the summer with my family.
Until then please see what I created for the Wolfe Island Bakery. I have pieces there for sale and also on Etsy.

Have a great summer and see you on line or in person at Balleycanoe and in my shop.

Hello everyone! It has been a lifetime since I have been away.

Panic mode!

I am in the final panic stages for Art among the Ruins Show next Saturday the 15th.
I have been working on a number of new pieces which are displayed below and as always I wish I had another week to prepare but at least the rain is supposed to be over and they have forcasted sun for the weekend.
I hope some of you are able to make it to this show which is a favorite of mine because it incorporates three of my must haves for shows- food, music and a beautiful setting.

Thank you for stopping by- All the best,
Penny

Show Info.

I am really looking forward to getting back in my studio and creating works for my first Show of 2013-
"Art Among the Ruins" is a large annual outdoor art show and sale set among picturesque ruins of a 19th century paper mill beside rapids of Napanee River. Saturday, June 15, 2013; 10 am-5pm. Located in quaint village of Newburgh, Ontario. Features juried-quality paintings, sculpture, mosaic tile, fibre, wood, paper, photography & more! There are lots of chairs set up around the property, so come for art, come for history, or come for a relaxing day to just sit overlooking the river to watch the water flow by. BBQ lunch available to purchase. Music. Free admission. 613-378-6516. www.artamongtheruins.com

As you stroll around soak in the beauty of the grounds and art, the live music and fresh fruit that is always on hand by wandering helpers. I have not been to a show that looks after visitors and Artists so well.
Hope to see you there.
Thank you to all those that came out to see the artists of the Thousand Islands
in their latest show at
The Beautiful Eagle Point Winery.

We had a fabulous time tasting new vintages, catching up with fellow artists and of course greeting you our customers in this new unique setting.
You can still see the artists that were in attendance on our TIARTS website- www.tiarts.org.

One of our very talented and newest member has graciously profiled my work on his blog- http://awbrucesherman.blogspot.ca/
please check out his wonderful website and see for yourself why Bruce Sherman is so successful at inspiring a love of the Thousand Islands through his paintings.

"I Love You!"

At my Studio

I have finally found the rare lightning rod cable that I use for my Old Oak trees and will be starting to create a few. If you are looking for that special gift then be sure to contact me soon as I can only make a small number - the material is getting harder and harder to find- I have been waiting two years to find any.

I will post my "Old Oaks" as they are completed.

Visit "My Etsy page" under the "links" heading down on the lower right for more items and their prices.
